So 2014 was a hard year for a lot of people \u2026 it was here in the Moonsong household \u2026<\/p>\n

The highlights started almost exactly a year ago in January when Sandy, Alta and I were broadsided in Alta\u2019s RAV4 by someone going too fast on icy roads\u2026<\/p>\n

Surgeries and health issues kept one or more of us in the hospital or flat on our backs healing for over 7 months of the year \u2026<\/p>\n

We said goodbyes to friends who have crossed over \u2026<\/p>\n

We have watched the news \u2026 enough said about that \u2026<\/p>\n

There are no promises that life is easy, common thoughts are that it is just the opposite \u2026<\/p>\n

Bottom line \u2026 2014 kinda sucked \u2026 but it is past \u2026 as each day passes and is past \u2026<\/p>\n

And we still go forward \u2026<\/p>\n

So I want to share balance for 2014 going forward \u2026<\/p>\n

In 2014, we went on a few island cruises and enjoyed the fresh air and tides \u2026<\/p>\n

We purchased 5 acres of land to build our new home on and put our beach home up for sale \u2026<\/p>\n

My artwork has been a wonderful release and focus and it has been a joy following my muse.<\/p>\n

Each of us here has laughed, rested and lived this past year \u2026 and that is the balance \u2026 bad things happen and good things happen \u2026 we draw from each what we need and we focus on today \u2026 and tomorrow \u2026 Past is past and we keep what want to carry forward and leave the crap where it belongs \u2026 in the past.<\/p>\n

So my resolution for the new year is this \u2026<\/p>\n

I will live each day as it comes \u2026 I will embrace the good and deal with the bad as it happens \u2026 and set my focus on Joy, Laughter and Peace \u2026<\/p>\n
